Due to the currently developments that have been experienced in Kilifi North, many have planted their hopes to the once a County Secretary in the first regime of Governor Kingi. He was recently seen in Parliament fighting for revival of few coastal projects one being Kilifi Cashew nuts.
His flexibility and zeal to change the lives of his people has captured the minds of the majority in Kilifi County.
As per today, if voting is done, Owen Baya would win with a large landslide.
Not only developments that is in his agendas but also empowerment for the women and youths are his biggest concerns.
Today he together with Kilifi youths has organized and run a skating program that was covered and participated by youths across some counties. See what he had to say;
"Today mid morning I flagged off the 3rd Annual Owen Baya Kilifi National Roller Skating Championships at Karisa Maitha Grounds with teams from the Counties of Nairobi, Kisumu, Mombasa, Busia, Laikipia, Kilifi Machakos."
